Groundtrax Systems Ltd started out by offering temporary trackway for events and construction projects, but the business has evolved over the last five years to become one of the largest providers of ground reinforcement and protection products in the UK. While we still sell trackway products, we have also developed our own range of specialist ground protection products as well as being main distributors for other companies including Terram and Rola-Trac.

Groundtrax also supply all the specialist geosynthetic products needed for the installation including geotextiles, geogrids and geocells.

Overflow or additional car parking is one of our major sectors and as well as traditional cellular grid pavers like CellPave 40 and Bodpave 85, we have an exclusive product CellPave AP which is a very cost effective no-dig product that is easily installed with just a vibratory roller. While originally developed for reinforcing grass airfields, it is now widely used by councils and private companies for providing extensive parking areas on existing grass areas. We estimate that our system doubles the capacity of the existing ground and it can greatly extend the parking season throughout the year.

To cater for the heaviest loading requirements, we developed CellPave HD – a high quality heavy weight paver with some clever design features. They are particularly suitable for incorporation into a SUDS compliant system and may even negate the need for costly water attenuation when installed on a suitable porous substrate. CellPave HD is now installed on many prestigious projects including the new Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate.
