No-Dig Solutions

There are many reasons you may not wish to install a sub-base or perhaps need a temporary solution to protect the ground. Perhaps the site does not allow digging or removal of soil, or maybe you do not need drainage as the ground you are to protect is free-draining. In these situations, you may wish to consider our range of ‘no-dig’ solutions. Whether for pedestrian use or vehicular use, Groundtrax has the solution. Note that to use these products, the ground MUST be free-draining. Please use caution and adhere to the product advice given for each individual product.

GrassProtecta – Grass Reinforcement Mesh

GrassProtecta grass reinforcement mesh is a heavy duty thick slip resistant polyethylene plastic mesh grid for reinforcing and protecting grassed surfaces prone to wear, rutting and smearing which can result in a muddy surface incapable of withstanding vehicular or pedestrian traffic applications. GrassProtecta is a great solution for low to medium traffic areas and where the ground is free-draining. Simply roll out across the area and pin down with our Steel U-Pins or if you prefer, you can use our plastic GRM Pegs.

CellPave™ AP – No-Dig Ground Reinforcement Solution

CellPave™ AP from Groundtrax is a ‘no-dig’ anchored ground reinforcement paving tile. It is installed quickly and easily and it provides a cost-effective way of reinforcing existing grassed areas without the need for a sub-base. It is used extensively for car parking and to reinforce grassed areas for walkways and other pedestrian areas. The grids are a much stronger alternative to roll out meshes that are pinned into place as the grids themselves are vibrated into the ground with a vibratory roller.

CellPave™ GP – No-Dig Interlocking Matting

CellPave GP from Groundtrax is a durable, easy-to-lay paving system.

Made from 100% recycled material and is compliant to permeable paving regulations offering an 85% void for excellent water permeation. CellPave GP is unique amongst it’s competitors because of the ‘spring like’ elements within the grid, giving flexibility both horizontally and vertically. Simply lay CellPave GP on top of any grassed area, connect together and it can be driven on immediately or backfill with sand, soil or decorative stone for a variety of finishes.
